Customer Testimony From The 2011 Chicago Black Women's Expo

Over the weekend, we received a wonderful testimony via email (as we do often) from a lovely lady we had the pleasure of meeting at our booth at the Chicago Black Women's two weeks ago. This is the first of other testimonials we will begin posting here on the Diva's Image blog to showcase how much women love our virgin indian hair! 


This particular testimonial we find special because she states in the email how she was skeptical about trying purchasing the hair at the expo as she "left the table and came back", being that she was unfamiliar with our company and it's product but she went out on a limb and came away satisfied. This is what keeps us going!!!

The prestigious 2011 Black Women's Expo made it's annual stop in Chicago over the weekend and Divas' Image Hair was a proud vendor. Owner/Stylist Danielle Rosson{@sewinqueen} gfave live demonstrations on her outstanding sew-in techniques while the friendly staff greeted everyone who stopped by to speak and get more information on our wonderful products. Divas Image is looking for Marketing/Pr Interns!

As we continue to grow, so does our needs and workload. Divas Image is looking for marketing/pr interns starting immediately. This is a great opportunity for current college students and/or those fresh out of college who are seeking the much needed resume building experience to progess in the PR field.  This unpaid internship will give you maximum freedom to be creative and try out new ideas as well continuing strategies that have proven to be effective. 

Interns will be encouraged to participate in all aspects of our PR program and be given substantive roles in activities that may include: updating website/blog, press releases, media relations & partcipating events involving Divas Image. Internship is based in Chicago although most day to day activities can be done with access to the internet. We are looking for individuals that can intern full-time at least 2 – 5 days a week. (9 AM – 6 PM each day).


Compensation:
School Credit Only
*Interns must be able to recieve school credit*

Qualifications:- Computer proficient with knowledge of File Maker Pro and Photoshop a plus
- Must have excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
- Must be creative, organized & able to complete tasks in timely manner
- Should be interested in pursuing a career in public relations, marketing, or
communications.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist at special events
- General administrative duties including press kit production, social media/blog updates,
- Update and maintain media database and influencer database with current editorial and influencer contacts


Requirements:- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and can receive school credit.
- You must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior

2011 Proud Lady Hair Show - Chicago Il

The Proud Lady Hair Show that took place this past weekend in Chicago & Diva's Image was proudly in attendance! For those who may not be familiar, this annual 2 day event takes place in Chicago & is widely known & highly respected within the hair industry. It's considered a must attend & we were blessed to be in attendance. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to speak & purchased our hair. It's always great seeing current customers while getting the opportunity to introduce our hair to new stylists around the world. Cant wait until next year!
